Mother takes her hat off for City’s paramedics

Mother says thank you.

At 1am on November 26, 2019, I went into labour. The ambulance arrived around 1.30am and by then I was in full labour and my baby was already crowning.

Mr Grobler and his co-partner were very professional and even though my experience was very traumatic, they went out of their way to make it comfortable.

He is a hero in my eyes and throughout it all he was by my side, talking to me and answering questions. He even made efforts to make me laugh.

I owe my life and my daughter’s life to him and his partner. Words will never be enough to say how grateful I am.
My daughter was born in Alberton North around 1.45am.

Today, Hailey is a healthy six-month-old baby and I would like to thank Mr Grobler and his partner from the bottom of my heart.
