Potholes fixed by residents of South Crest

Residents fix potholes without the municipality's help.

I want to talk about the wonderful people who live and work in South Crest.

Over the past few months, South Crest’s roads have become worse and worse to drive on. The matter was taken to the DA councillors, and the community was told that if they are willing to pay for the road repairs, the repairs will be done. However, if they are unwilling to pay, it will take the municipality more than a year to fix the roads.

So some residents of South Crest pulled together and contributed to the cause. In the last week, they have used their own resources to fix the potholes without any help from the councillors. This time, money and effort have shown a small change in the South Crest area.

A huge shoutout to everyone who assisted. Together we can change the community for the better.

We are all very aware of the dire state of our municipality which once thrived, so let us start doing something about it.
