Champ of Champs trophy up for grabs
The three-day tournament will be played over a round robin format.
ENGEN Champ of Champs will kick-off in great earnest when the top u.17 teams battle it out for the coveted championship trophy.
Defending champions and hosts SuperSport United will face off against five other teams.
Engen Champ of Champs kicks-off on Friday, October 9, and runs until Sunday, October 11, at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
This year’s event features the top young Amazulu, Chippa United, Ajax CT, Mamelodi Sundowns and Harmony Academy teams.
The draw for this prestigious event took place on September 30.
Engen’s group sponsorship manager, Brad Bergh, said this year’s five regional Engen Knockout Challenge events were extremely successful and produced soccer of the highest order. “I have no doubt that the action at the Engen Champ of Champs will also be fierce and a spectacle that Engen is honoured to be associated with.”
