Rietvlei Trails

Rietvlei Trails are open daily from 06:00 to 18:00. Hiking, walking and running trails from 2.6km to 15km are open. Dogs on leads are allowed.

Entrance is R40 per person or R150 for a trail access card with 10 entries.

MTB Trails

Mountain bike trails from 5km to 40km are open. All trails are marked and beginners are welcome. Dogs on leads allowed. Please wear a mask or buff.

Rietvlei Parkrun Valentine’s run

Rietvlei Parkrun Valentine’s run will take place on February 12.

The parkrun starts at 08:00. Join them every Saturday for a 5km walk or run. All ages welcome. Dogs on leads also welcome.

Register on www.parkrun.co.za and download your barcode. Note: No barcode, no result.

Dog Walk

Dog walk will take place on February 13 over 5km or 10km at Rietvlei Trails from 08:00 to 11:00.

Entrance fee R40 per person. Dogs remain on leashes at all times.

Rietvlei soccer school

Rietvlei soccer school presents soccer lessons and skills training. All boys and girls ages three to 18 years are most welcome. First lesson is free. Lessons are on Monday to Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Beginners and club players are welcome.

Ground Zero Kids

Ground Zero kiddie’s obstacle fitness classes are open.

It helps children with coordination, balance and confidence. Classes are on Saturday from 08:45 to 09:30.

Men’s Futsal League at Rietvlei Zoo Farm will take place on Astro fields from Tuesdays to Thursdays evenings. It will take the format of six vs six players with a maximum of 10 players per team.
