Alberton High teacher reaches greater heights
World champion and South African sportswoman Sunette Viljoen-Louw was awarded in different categories during the Diadora Jozi Cup.
Shaun Pretorius, DP World Lions Women’s Cricket’s head coach, congratulated Sunette Viljoen-Louw on her prestigious performance during this year’s Diadora Jozi Cup.
The Diadora Jozi Cup is a community-based winter cricket club competition spanning various age groups from U11 through to the veterans’ group that includes boys, girls, men and women.
Alberton High School has also congratulated the South African sportswoman for her recent achievements bagging several awards.
At the Diadora Jozi Cup 2023 Awards, Sunette bagged the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament, Batter of the Tournament and Player of the Tournament awards.
Oscar von Platen of Alberton High School wished Sunette the best for the new season ahead.
“DP World Lions with Diadora, the main tournament sponsor, would like to congratulate Sunette on these great achievements,” he said.
