QueIsFit successfully hosted its last boot camp for 2023

Sinqobile Zondi took some time and reflected on the year as they have victoriously hosted their last boot camp for year 2023 and he already looks forward to 2024.

QuelsFit held its final boot camp of 2023 at The View Kibler Park, Plot 9011.

The boot camp goal is to empower and uplift the community through fitness while facilitating socialisation and interaction among participants through various activities.

They performed numerous exercises, such as sprinter lunges, squat jacks, little hops, boxing combos, standing toe touches, and shoulder rotations.

These workouts, known as resistance or strength training, are excellent ways to build muscle and stamina and lower the risk of osteoporosis and other age-related illnesses.

Osteoporosis is a medical condition where the bones lose tissue, usually as a result of hormonal fluctuations or a deficiency in calcium or vitamin D. This causes the bones to become brittle and weak.

The founder of QuelsFit, Sinqobile Zondi, said one of the most valuable lessons he’s learnt from boot camps is the importance of constantly giving back to the community in whatever way you can. A vital gift of life is the ability to change people’s lives by enabling them to realise their long-desired ambitions.

Sinqobile met with the Alberton Record earlier this year to share his plans and goals he would like to achieve this year through the boot camps.

He said that he is more than proud to have achieved some goals he had set at the time, some of them being able to move these boot camps to another location and get more involved with children.

“All we wanted was for people to realise there is more to what we do than boot camps. It is also a chance for the neighbourhood to gather and eat healthily. Since children are the future; we wanted to involve as many of them as possible to prepare them early on for self-reliance and success in life and the year gave us just that,” Sinqobile said.

He thanked everyone who supported the initiative throughout the year and still hopes to reach out to more people in the neighbourhood and the country.

Attendees enjoyed the day by later feasting on a scrumptious meal and soft drinks.
