Titan Bare Knuckle event sees Matunga take the title

With Djikasa Matunga the new heavyweight champion, fans already look forward to what comes next in the bare-knuckle boxing world.

The first Titan Bare Knuckle Championship on May 11 was successful, ending with Djikasa Matunga’s crowning as the heavyweight champion.

Matunga faced a tough opponent in Ricky Misholas, delivering an exciting fight that kept the audience cheering.

The event had a Peaky Blinders theme, with many attendees dressing up in 1920s-style clothes, adding a fun twist to the night. The fights were intense, with several standout performances.

• Sacha Thesner (from Alberton) vs Christian Mulamba;

• Trezeguet Kanyinda vs Ryan Pretorius;

• Christopher Matukane vs Rodrique Kena;

• Rocky Ilunga vs Kalala Diu;

• Simon Domingos vs Francois Buys.

The night’s highlight was Kena’s knockout of Matukane, which thrilled the crowd.

“Boxing legends Gert Strydom and Colin Nathan attended the event, along with EFC middleweight champion JP Kruger, adding star power to the night,” said Tiny Strauss, the event director.

“The food, provided by Fahrenheit Alberton, was also a hit,” he added.

“The Titan Bare Knuckle Championship’s first event set a high standard for future competitions,” Strauss said.

The May 11 event was spectacular.
