South African champion Siyakholwa ‘One Way’ Kuse secures unanimous decision over Philippines’ Samuel Salva at Box and Dine tournament.

Siyakholwa ‘One Way’ Kuse dug deep to secure a unanimous points decision victory over Samuel Salva of the Philippines on May 31.

Kuse, the South African and ABU strawweight boxing champion, staged an impressive comeback after being knocked down in the first round of his international bout on the undercard of the Coronation Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court.

Fighting out of the Brian Mitchell Boxing Academy, Kuse secured the victory by unanimous decision, with judges scoring the fight 97–91, 95–94, and 97–92 in his favour.

Also at the Box and Dine was Brian Mitchell of Bassonia, IBO World Junior Bantamweight and IBO World Flyweight champion Ricardo ‘Magic Man’ Malajika of Edenvale and boxing trainer, Manny Fernandes.
