Free sports leadership programme comes to La Rochelle

SASCOL's Gateway City Training to equip youth with teamwork and leadership skills through sport.

The Gateway City Training programme, organised by the South African Sports Coalition (SASCOL), will take place from June 13 to 15 at Corinthians Africa, 11 Street & Forest Road, La Rochelle.

The programme is designed to emphasise teamwork and leadership through sport.

Through playing team sports like soccer, netball, and other team-oriented sports, players learn their role in a team and how to operate as a unit to achieve a collective goal, promoting teamwork and collaboration to achieve a desired outcome.

SASCOL will take participants through an activity session that utilizes sport, play, and fitness to demonstrate leadership qualities and how to lead small groups.

The event will take place over three days. The times for each day are as follows: June 13 will be from 15:00 to 18:00, June 14 from 08:30 to 16:00, and June 15 from 08:00 to 13:00.

Registration is free. Visit www.sascol.org.za\gc.php to register.
