WATCH: Smart Power Golf Ladies connect and grow on the greens of Kibler Park

The golf clinic at Bells Panorama Range in Kibler Park blended networking, wellness, and fun under the guidance of coach Jerry Dikgale.

Smart Power Golf Ladies hosted a networking session and golf clinics at Bells Panorama Range in Kibler Park on July 5.

Ladies dressed in their themed attire of fawn/light brown tops and dark brown pants or skirts followed the instructions of golf coach and CEO Jerry Dikgale.

He explained the purpose of the day before they took to the field: “We are here to connect and network, and ultimately to enjoy golf even though we might not produce the next Nelly Korda.

“You need to be mentally strong to play golf. While playing, you need to enjoy the scenery. Don’t be upset by a bad shot, don’t spoil your day because it is one shot at a time. This sport helps you to handle stress and escape your daily troubles or problems,” explained Dikgale.

The ladies went for their warm-ups led by Dikgale. He then divided them into two groups: those who were there for the first time and those who had played before. Both groups practised taking shots, and there was a great atmosphere of laughter and togetherness.

On display were businesses ranging from wellness products to laundry services.
