Corinthians and Sun International shine in Mandela Day Sports Challenge.

The Mandela Day Sports Challenge, held on July 17 in La Rochelle, brought together Corinthians FC and Sun International employees in a spirited day of sport, unity, and celebration.

The event featured football and netball, with both teams showcasing high levels of skill, sportsmanship, and determination. Spectators were treated to closely contested matches, with standout performances across the board.

“I was blown away by the level of competition on display,” said Thembi Mthembu, a netball player for Corinthians.

“It was an incredible experience playing against Sun International, and I’m so proud of the way our team performed. The energy of the crowd was electric, and it really motivated us to give our best.”

Sibusiso Mkhize, a football player for Sun International, echoed the enthusiasm:

“The Mandela Day Sports Challenge was an amazing experience. The venue was good and the atmosphere was fantastic. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it, and I’m already looking forward to the rest of the event.”
