At Nova Pioneer Schools, success is measured not only by academic excellence but by the passion, purpose, and character the learners display in everything they do.
This ethos has been brought to life by two extraordinary young siblings, Ashwaria (10) and Micah Arthur (7), who are turning heads both on and off the judo mat.
What started as a fun intramural activity quickly became a defining part of their journey. Fueled by Nova Pioneer’s joy of learning culture principle, the duo embraced judo with open hearts and minds. Every throw, hold, and counter move was more than just sport. It became a lesson in discipline, resilience, and growth.

Their passion soon took them beyond school grounds. With unwavering curiosity and determination, Ashwaria and Micah began training externally, entering the competitive judo scene and making an immediate impact.
Competing in national-level tournaments, both have proudly earned trophies in their respective age groups, an impressive feat for such young athletes.
What truly sets them apart is not just their skill, but their character. They uplift their teammates, generously share their experiences, and lead by example, demonstrating that true leadership is rooted in humility, encouragement, and collaboration.

“Judo has taught me how to be calm and strong. It’s not just about winning; it’s about helping others get better too,” Ashwaria said.
Micah agrees. “I like that we get to learn new things and support each other. Even when we lose, we learn something new.”
Their story is a compelling reminder of what can happen when children are given space to explore their interests and are nurtured in an environment that values courage, compassion, and curiosity.
