JAN Keizer and Anny Schilder, the original voices of legendary Dutch ensemble BZN, will grace the stage at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena once again.

The dynamic duo will perform only three concerts during their tour to South Africa next year of which two are at Carnival City. This will be the second time that BZN will perform at Carnival City.

During their last tour to South Africa in 2015, fans flocked to see them live at the Big Top Arena and 2019 marks 40 years since BZN had their first major hit, Mon Amour and 40 years since Anny and Jan started singing together.

In celebration of their big 4-oh, BZN will take their fans on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, performing the evergreen songs which made them famous. These include Yeppa Tonight, Wheels on Fire, Amore, Waltzing Maria, Le Légionnaire, Over the Hills, La France, Chrystal Gazer, If I say the words, The old Dalahn, Blue Eyes and A young girl’s dream.

BZN has had over 50 hits on the Dutch hit charts to date and is the only music act to have had top 40 hit singles for 26 consecutive years (1973 to 1998). They have recorded more than 30 albums and received countless awards and accolades.

Anny and Jan say they can’t wait to perform in South Africa again.

“South Africa has always been good to us,” said Anny.

“We love the country and its people.”

Fans can look forward to seeing BZN live on stage at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City in October.
