What to do if you are not happy with service at the hospital

Ask for the immediate supervisor or manager in the area where they didn’t get service or were mistreated.

VISITORS to South Rand Hospital are asked to take note of the complaints process in place. If you are either not satisfied with the service or didn’t get the supposed service:

• Ask for the immediate supervisor or manager in the area where they didn’t get service or were mistreated e.g. in the administration area, casualty or outpatient department or even in the ward.

• At night there is always a night supervisor who can be contacted via the switchboard number: 011 681 2000.

• If the problem is not resolved or addressed or unable to get anyone for the area immediately contact or visit the office of quality assurance within the hospital (telephone numbers 011 681 2086/2000 or 24 hours cell number: 082 673 5599). The quality assurance office is manned by Sonwabo Lindani and Velosh Pillay.
