Pretty in pink
DAINFERN - Tired old tyres are getting new life with Tamerin Jardine around.
The beauty queen, and former Miss Earth South Africa, is setting her sights on cancer awareness.
“With the goal of supporting and raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness, I was asked to join and support the Bridgestone Pink Cap Drive Campaign,” she said.
“To join this worthy cause you simply buy and then fit your pink valve caps on your car.”
Race car driver, and Jardine’s boyfriend, Gennaro Bonafede from Dainfern also joined the cause, even going as far as giving his manly Audi a pink make-over.
“Gennaro thrives on getting involved and giving back in any way he can and showed his support by kitting-out his racing car with pink valves and pink – instead of the normal red – Bridgestone decals during his last race meeting in Cape Town,” Jardine added.
