World of casino gaming revealed

MONTECASINO - Montecasino's general manager, Glenn Joseph, is on a quest to de-mystify the world of casino gaming.

Some people avoid casino gaming because they consider it intimidating and difficult to master. Joseph explained that like any other game, once you know how to play it becomes easier. Before attempting to play the actual game you can also peruse a brochure or research the game online if you are worried about not knowing the rules.

A common belief is that if a slot machine hasn’t paid out in a while then it is due for a win. Joseph stressed that this belief is false. He said, “Slot machine payouts are completely random. No one can predict when a machine will pay out, this is what makes it so much fun.”

Another misconception is that after getting a big payout, the player must move on to another slot machine. Joseph explained that this is not necessarily true. “The odds of another big win on the next play are exactly the same as they were before, ” he said.

Many people believe that dealers are able to land the ball in certain areas of the wheel or hit empty numbers in American Roulette. Joseph said that this is false. “It is virtually impossible to make the ball land in a specific area. The speed at which the wheel is spinning, the hazards on the wheel, the slope of the hub, the point of impact and speed at which the ball is spun all come into play in roulette. That’s why it is a game of chance, ” he said.

Joseph explained that there are many more superstitions, myths and misconceptions about casino gaming out there, but the simple fact is that casino games were invented for the pure entertainment value of playing.
