Four men rob Dainfern jewellery store

DAINFERN – Police have asked the community to be on the lookout for a white Polo.

 

Douglasdale police have asked the community to be on the lookout for a white Polo with four occupants that was involved in a robbery on the morning of 2 February.

Station commander Brigadier Lettie Hugo said the Polo was used as a getaway car by four suspects who robbed a jewellery store in Dainfern Valley Shopping Centre.

“It was reported that the crime took place at 9.45am today and the driver of the car was an Indian man. Inside the car was one white/coloured man and two black men,” Hugo said.

She said the registration number of the vehicle was unknown.

“If you have any information regarding the crime or the getaway vehicle, please contact the Douglasdale Police Station on 011 699 1300.”
