Dainfern College hosted its annual Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) Shavathon and Sprayathon on 3 March in an effort to raise funds for those affected by cancer.

“The school raised a whopping R30 055 and the college is very grateful for all the support,” said Fulvia Stoltz, the digital communication assistant for the school.

Dainfern schoolchildren and teachers showed much enthusiasm as they had their hair cut or sprayed.
“Social awareness is a key part of Dainfern College. In addition to its foundation and its outreach programmes, the college always supports drives of this nature,” said Stoltz.
