Local food and craft market brings Latin America to you

BROADACRES – Those who missed the first Taste Latino Food and Craft Market will be happy to know that the market takes place on the first Saturday of every month.

Broadacres got a taste of Latin America when the first Taste Latino Food and Craft Market came to the Green Garden Café at the Purple Tulip Nursery on 2 June.

The event, which takes place on the first Saturday of every month, featured cuisines from Central and South America such as Mexican tacos, Peruvian chicken and Argentinean grilled meat and saw a number of stalls selling crafts and condiments.

There was also live entertainment and a free salsa lesson taught by Latino dance champion and singer, César Alvarado, from Peru.
