Klarika Nettleton wishes her supporters and friends a positive year ahead
FOURWAYS – Klarika Nettleton, known to the Fourways community through her work with the Ian Tarr Project, shares this message with residents ...
Klarika Nettleton, also known as Nomsa, of the Bloubosrand Community Forum, the Bloubosrand Animal Welfare Group and Ian Tarr Project writes,
I wish my neighbours, supporters and friends a wonderful and positive year ahead.
Thank you for all your help and kindness. I am sure you understand that the forum is dealing with all community issues which is very difficult, to say the least. The animal welfare group does its utmost to feed animals and teach people in the townships how to care for them.
I’d like people to remember this festive season that all animals and people of all races as well as the environment are all family.
Let us all stand together in harmony and mutual respect.
As always, I am asking you for help with pet food and tick/flea products, as well as vaseline, blankets and other animal supplies as part of the Ian Tarr Project. All donations can be dropped off in the donation box outside the Broadacres Shopping Centre SPAR, located on Cedar Road in Fourways.
I am also looking for gifts for children and adults which I distribute in the townships.
My heart breaks for the adults who go through dustbins to find food and items to recycle. That should not happen. Every person in our country should have enough to live on and live a positive life. We must make it happen now.
Love and thanks from Nomsa.
