Christmas Village a hit this 2018

FOURWAYS – It was a village filled with festive spirit, fun, food and family as the annual Christmas Village took place at Montecasino from 12 to 17 December

Warm summer nights, the magical Montecasino Christmas Village and a great line-up of fun family movies under the stars on the piazza ensured priceless experiences were in store for Montecasino visitors in December.

The Montecasino Christmas Village took place from 12 to 17 December and while the adults got their fill of Christmas shopping, festivities, a gin bar, Graham Beck Bubbly Bar, Sally Williams Christmas Nougat, gourmet burgers and more, the children enjoyed open-air movies under the stars, with a different family movie on the big screen each night.

For six nights, Montecasino’s Piazza and grassy area were transformed into a festive European-style Christmas market, with enchanting traditional wooden stalls wreathed with fairy lights, a magnificent central Christmas tree, and more than 60 exhibitors.

Shoppers got to stock up on unique gifts, magical festive decor, delicious Christmas cakes and decorated biscuits, twinkling fairy lights; chair covers, elf dresses for little girls and handmade reindeer hats for babies, picnic baskets for Christmas day outings, wooden boards on which to dish up the perfect turkey and so much more.

Attendees enjoyed the magic of Christmas shopping while the children enjoyed movies on the big screen. No rush and no additional cost, just time to relax and unwind.

The village ensured a fun family day out while also helping those in need as funds raised were donated to a Lead SA/947 initiative.
