locals enjoy a healthy treat

BROADACRES – Everyday favourite cakes with a healthy twist were served by a dietician to community members to show ways in which residents can have their cake and eat it.


Community members were treated to a free cake tasting by Broadacres resident, dietician and founder of Caked Up SA, Nqobile Muyambo on 15 May.

Six different flavours were available for attendees to try featuring various health-conscious alternatives to regular cakes, with oat and cranberry as well as quinoa substitutions. The Fourways Review journalist Khomotso Makgabutlane was there to capture
