Unity College continues to empower staff

CHARTWELL – A group of staff members at Unity College recently completed the in-service training.


Unity College constantly equips its staff members with the latest developments in the education sector.

The school’s ongoing in-service training ensures that staff members stay updated on the latest research regarding conditions and barriers to learning that may be applicable to learners.

Recently, a group of staff members took part in the school’s in-service training. The staff members completed the course on dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia.

The school’s senior admin officer, Michelle Kirk said the in-service training for academic staff was ongoing and ensured that they remained on top of their game.

Principal Retha van Niekerk said, “At Unity College, ongoing in-service training ensures staff stay updated on latest research regarding conditions and barriers to learning that may be applicable to our pupils.”
