Pinnacle College Kyalami achieves 96% matric pass
Head of school at Pinnacle College Kyalami said helping learners to choose subjects aligned to their passion has helped learners achieve good results.
Head of school at Pinnacle College in Kyalami, Tammy Pannall has congratulated the matric Class of 2022 for achieving a 95% pass rate and 76% bachelor pass.
Pannall said helping learners to choose subjects aligned with their passion has helped learners achieve good results.
“We always ensure that the learners choose subjects that speak to their passion. As a school, we believe that people should choose subjects that will lead them to their passion or careers when they finished school,” Pannell said.
“The good work relationship with parents has also played a very important role in helping our school achieve a good result. Our parents are actively involved in their children’s academic life and we are so grateful for their support. We also provide free extra classes for our learners at no additional cost to help them catch up on different subjects.”
Thandanani Ngubane who received distinctions in isiZulu and business studies said working hard from the beginning of the year helped her achieve good results.
“My matric journey was truly challenging I don’t want to lie but I managed to pull through with two distinctions with the help of God and hard work. I will be pursuing my studies at either the University of Pretoria or the University of KwaZulu-Natal in criminal sociology.”
