Curro and Norscot Slopes unite to celebrate the NVVS Guards
Curro Fourways and the Norscot Slopes community come together to honour the heroes of safety in a heartwarming Easter initiative.
Curro Fourways recently collaborated with residents of Norscot Slopes to express gratitude towards the NVVS security guards who diligently ensure the safety of the neighbourhood.
In an inspiring Easter initiative, the school organised a heartfelt gesture to acknowledge the unwavering commitment of these guards. The event aimed to bring joy to the men and women who work tirelessly behind the scenes, often without recognition.
“We wanted to show our sincere gratitude for their role in our everyday lives. We need to foster a sense of community and highlight the importance of those who look after our safety,” said Busi Zibi, the Curro Fourways marketing officer.

The partnership resulted in the distribution of Easter treats and care packages to the NVVS team, reflecting an act of kindness that resonated deeply within the community. This simple yet impactful gesture was not only an acknowledgment of the guards’ dedication but also a reminder of the collective responsibility to promote appreciation and kindness within society.
“Being present and visible within our local area is crucial. It allows us to show young learners what it means to contribute positively to the world around them. We are proud to stand alongside our community in supporting those who care for us, and we look forward to more opportunities to give back in the future.”
