Little lives nurtured at local Montessori school
From a single preschool to five thriving schools, the school celebrates 20 years of nurturing confident, curious young minds.
After 20 years of early mornings, tiny hands learning to button shirts, first friendships and proud milestones, Nurture and Nature Montessori is celebrating two decades of shaping young lives.
For owners Pamela Schreiber and Lee-Anne Myerson, the anniversary represents far more than the passage of time; it is a moment to reflect on two decades of trust, dedication, and shared growth.

Schreiber said: “Reaching 20 years is deeply meaningful to us, both personally and professionally. It represents two decades of trust placed in us by families, dedication from our teachers, and the growth of thousands of young children who began their learning journeys within our classrooms.”
What began as a single preschool has since grown into a network of five Montessori schools, a journey the owners say has always been guided by quality rather than scale. “One of our proudest achievements has been growing while remaining true to our original ethos. Growth has never been about size alone, but about quality and integrity.
“We are incredibly proud of the children who have passed through our schools confident, curious, and well-prepared for the next stages of their education.”
They also credit the school’s success to its long-standing team of educators, many of whom have grown alongside the institution and continue to embody its values every day.
As education continues to evolve in a fast-changing world, Nurture and Nature Montessori has adapted while staying grounded in its Montessori foundations.

“While our Montessori principles remain central, we have integrated modern teaching tools, ongoing educator training, and an increased focus on critical thinking, adaptability, and emotional intelligence,” said Myerson.
“The world may change rapidly, but the need for children to feel secure, inspired, and supported remains constant.”
Over the years, countless moments have reaffirmed the school’s impact, on children who initially struggled and later flourished, to former learners returning as confident young adults. “Seeing children develop independence, kindness, and self-belief is always incredibly rewarding.
“When parents share how their child’s love for learning was shaped during their early years with us, it reinforces why this work matters so deeply.”
To mark its 20th anniversary, the school will host a series of celebrations throughout the year, focused on gratitude, reflection, and community.
“Families can expect special events that honour our journey, our educators, and our children.
“We will be sharing stories from the past, celebrating milestones and creating new memories together,” said Schreiber.
Most importantly, the anniversary year is about recognising everyone who has been part of the Nurture and Nature Montessori story, and looking ahead with optimism and purpose to the years to come.
