Dressed in their best, young innovators rubbed shoulders with business leaders at the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) IP Youth Awards, where ideas were not just shared but celebrated.

The event, themed: Young Ideas – South Africa’s Future Gold Standard, showed how today’s youth are changing the game. For many, success is no longer just about getting a job; it’s about building something of your own.
From small side hustles to big business ideas, young people are finding ways to turn their passions into income. What stood out most was how intellectual property (IP) is becoming part of everyday life.
