Many LED lights, cable ties and angel cut-outs later, Pipers Road in Douglasdale was lit up thanks to the handmade decorations of a Douglasdale resident on December 7.
Richard Pelczarski has been working on all the lights and decorations since February this year in aims of bringing Christmas cheer to the community and keeping the spirit in young children alive. He had assistance from neighbours putting the decorations up on the pavement and scaffolding a few days before the official day. The lights will be on in the area until January 6 next year from 19:00 until 22:00.
