Michalakis reins in the trophies

The horse-and-rider combination won the Junior Medium Kur at the Musical Freestyle Festival held at Kyalami Equestrian Park on 28 July.

Michalakis went on to win the Young Rider Trophy for receiving the highest score of all the young rider competitors at the festival.

Earlier in July, Michalakis won the Junior Medium Dressage class at the Higher Grades Inter-Regional Show held at Kyalami Equestrian Park.

Her Central Gauteng Junior Dressage team won the Junior Medium Dressage in the Higher Grades Inter-Regional Show held at Kyalami Equestrian Park.

Michalakis also performs with the SA Lipizzaner horses and is the youngest rider to train and ride the stallions.
