Join the Christmas spirit

Mother Touch Academy has started a shoebox Christmas collection for toddlers cared for by the pre-school.

The project ensures that all the children receive something special and useful at the end of the year when the school shuts down for the December holidays.

They are collecting empty shoeboxes that need to be filled with some kindness.

They need 123 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste, bars of Sunlight soap, facecloths and bags or boxes of sweets. There is also a call for 47 boxes of jumbo crayons, 10 baby board books, 10 baby toys, 66 boxes of felt tip pens, 55 girls’ toys and 59 boys’ toys. They also hope to include various clothes in the boxes for children ranging from 7 months to 6 years.
