Police recover loot of stolen items

DOUGLASDALE - A whole section of the Douglasdale Police Station evidence room has been taken over my a mother-load of stolen items.

According to Warrant Officer Balan Muthan, spokesperson for the police station, the items were recovered during a raid in a complex. Police assume the loot is from different house robberies or break-ins.

Some of the most identifiable items include a Chinese cooker and a silver jewellery box with floral embellishments.

Other items in the loot include jewellery, various wristwatches, two long-swords, DVD and Blu-Ray players, a sub-woofer and speaker set, office telephones, USB speakers, a DStv decoder, video cameras and digital cameras, computer keyboards, heaters, Playstation controllers, a variety of cellphones, a toy pistol, a frame decorated with American dollars, a multitude of house and car keys, two empty Dolce&Gabbana boxes, some purses, televisions and headphones.

Police have serial numbers for many of the items, and any recent victims can bring proof to claim items from the police station.
