R100 000 for Diepsloot child killer

DIEPSLOOT - Police involve public in catching the killer who dumped the bodies of two cousins in a toilet cubical

The Police Local Record Criminal Centre, Photo Image Identification Unit, has released an Identikit of the suspected Diepsloot murderer.

The suspect is between the ages of 30 and 34 years old, of slight build, and 1.7m tall.

According to police he has a light complexion and was wearing a wool knitted hat when last seen.

It is believed that he wears different coloured woollen hats.

The alleged serial killer has a distinctive cut on his lower lip and possibly wears a red ring on his left hand.

He is believed to be either from KwaZulu-Natal or Swaziland.

Police are offering a reward of up to R100 000 for any information that could lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of the suspect.

On 16 October police questioned four other suspects linked to the Diepsloot murderer, who is believed to be responsible for the deaths of three girls since September. The girls were aged 5, 3 and 2.
