Report bad treatment by police
DOUGLASDALE- THE management of Douglasdale Police Station urge members of the public to report any unsatisfactory service by members of the police or Metro police to them.

Head of communications at Douglasdale Police Station, Warrant Officer Balan Muthan, said the police station’s management had to deal with many complaints from the community regarding the treatment they receive from the Metro police, members of the police force as a whole, and the Douglasdale police.
Warrant Officer Muthan said all vehicles driven by police and Metro police members are fitted with a tracker unit.
In the event that members of the community are not satisfied with the service they receive from either of the two providers, the following should be observed and reported:
q The location of the incident
q The registration of the vehicle or vehicles
q The call sign of the vehicle, eg. DD99, and
q The officer’s name if possible.
Warrant Officer Muthan said the management of Douglasdale police do not take complaints of this nature lightly. The complaints are investigated and members of the police force found guilty are brought to book.
