School run promotes fitness

SUNNINGHILL- St Peter's College hosted their annual school-to-school run.

The school-to-school run route goes from St Peter’s College in Sunninghill to St Peter’s Preparatory in Paulshof.

Luckily the weather held out for the day and the runners had a chance to soak up the sun during the race.

Runners could choose between doing a 6 km route or a 9 km route.

The purpose of the annual event is to get children, families and friends out and about and to encourage families to get fit.

St Peter’s College consistently tries to promote walking and running as a great way to enjoy family time together in a healthy way.

To reward themselves for a fantastic run, families treated themselves to the delicious breakfasts on sale by the St Peter’s Parents’ Association.
