School spirit at sports day

BROADACRES - Unity College in Broadacres held their annual Sports Day.

The college is a special needs school on Cedar Road which specialises in the schooling of pupils with delayed scholastic ability.

On Saturday 10 May the pupils cheered as their teammates completed their individual races, and even broke some personal records.

In the end it was the Blue Cranes that amassed the most points and took home the winning house trophy.

The spirit trophy was won by the Yellow Weavers. Their win was testament to their new innovative war cries which they used to not only cheer on their own teammates but other teams as well.

The day was an amazing success, especially for Unity’s incredible athletes who strove to be the best they could be.
