Nine life sentences for child murderer
DIEPSLOOT - Rapist and murderer, Ntokozo Hadebe has been sentenced to nine life sentences plus 15 years for the kidnapping, rape and murder of three toddlers in Diepsloot.
It was reported that Hadebe appeared in the High Court in Pretoria again on 29 October after being found guilty of three counts of murder, three counts of kidnapping and six counts of rape on 28 October. Judge Nico Coetzee said he did not believe Hadebe’s claim that he was insane at the time of the murders and also mentioned that Hadebe did not show remorse for his actions.
It was reported that Hadebe spewed profanity at Coetzee after his sentence was read out while Coetzee said Hadebe acted worse than an animal and the punishment must fit the crime.
Hadebe was found guilty of kidnapping, raping and murdering Anelisa Mkondo (5) in September last year, and cousins, Yonelisa and Zandile Mali.
Mkondo had been missing for two days before her body was found on a trash heap in Diepsloot with a plastic bag over her head.
The Mali cousins were found dead in a public toilet cubicle in Diepsloot Extension 1 on 15 October.
