Unity College, a school for pupils with delayed scholastic ability, is based in Broadacres.
According to Michelle Kirk of Unity, this is the fifth year that the Woolworths chain have so kindly and generously put on a Christmas party for Unity’s special needs pupils.
Previously, the pupils have been spoiled by Woolworths Rosebank, Fourways Mall and now the Cresta branch.
“The Woolworths staff are all so cheerful and love our kids which is a bonus,” Kirk said. She explained that the Woolworths/Unity Christmas party consists of devouring lots of delicious cakes and fresh fruit and then lots of dancing.
“I think the sugar is the culprit of the many happy faces, but the Woolworths brand is a close second,” Kirk said. “To Brandon Groenewald, store manager at Cresta Woolworths, and his fantastic, energetic staff – thank you so very much.”
