Pupils from Kyalami Preparatory Nursery School kicked off the Easter weekend with a fun-filled day of celebration on 24 March.
The pupils made their own Easter hats and then had the opportunity to show off their wonderful creations for their friends during the Easter Hat Parade.
Loads of fun was had on the jumping castles and having their faces painted by some volunteer moms and dads. The pupils also participated in an Easter-egg hunt, which proved to be the highlight of the day.
Kyalami Preparatory Nursery School, a division of Kyalami Schools, was proud to open its doors in January to its first intake of 120 children.
Gary Botha, principal of the school, explained that the construction of the nursery school at Kyalami Prep was a significant milestone for the group this year.
“We are very proud of how our school has turned out. It is an oasis of awesome colour, delight, welcome and wonder,” Botha said.
