Two Dainfern College pupils were awarded red blazers this week for their outstanding achievements in three separate aspects of educational life.
Joel dos Santos and Lan Xu were awarded their blazers during the college’s colours assembly on 4 August. Pupils are only awarded red blazers if their conduct is exemplary and if they have already achieved full colours in at least three areas of college life.
“Both students have consistently demonstrated a wholehearted commitment to Dainfern College and are fine examples of the values we strive to uphold at our school,” said marketing manager Deidré Proxenos.
Lan Xu was awarded her red blazer for achieving honours for academics as one of Dainfern College’s top academic achievers, as well as for her talents as a public speaker and her full colours in first aid.
The second student to receive the red blazer was Joel dos Santos for his achievements in swimming, music and for service.
