Margaret Hirsch leaves girls speechless with inspiration

JOBURG – Margaret Hirsch speaks at the Tariro Foundation to motivate young girls in terms of business and education.

The Tariro Foundation hosted its inaugural breakfast at the Standard Bank Incubator in Rosebank.

The Tariro Foundation, a non-profit organisation in Johannesburg, focuses on the development and empowerment of young South African girls through education. Margaret Hirsch, CEO of the Hirsch Group and multi award-winning businesswoman, attended the breakfast as one of three guests to share her story about her business success.

Narisha Somaroo of the Samsung Rosebank Concept Store said, “Margaret’s story touched everyone in the room because many people don’t know the struggles she had when she was growing up. Her motto, ‘Never give up and make each second count’ struck a chord with everyone at the event.”

Schoolchildren of Waverley Girls’ High School attended the breakfast and were left speechless with the motivation, wisdom and knowledge they were given to help them in their daily lives. Since becoming a part of the foundation, the girls’ lives have changed and their grades have increased.
