Multiple-vehicle collision on the R55 near Kyalami leaves 13 injured
KYALAMI - Netcare 911 responds to serious accident on the R55 that leaves 13 people injured and a minibus overturned.
Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on the R55 near Dytchley Road near Kyalami on the morning of 6 June.
Upon arrival, paramedics found that a car, a bakkie and a minibus were involved in the collision and the minibus had overturned.
Majority of the victims had sustained only relatively minor injuries and one person sustained moderate injuries.
Paramedics assessed 15 people at the scene and 13 with injuries were transported to hospital by Netcare 911 and other ambulance services. The driver of the bakkie, as well as the driver of the minibus taxi, were not injured and remained on scene.
The JMPD also responded and the collision resulted in serious delays along the R55.
