A major upset was caused after some pictures leaked on social media with ladies wearing rather revealing clothing in what looks like entertainment for prisoners at the Johannesburg Prison.
Fourways Review has received confirmation that the pictures on social media about Johannesburg Prison inmates getting special treatment are true.
The Department of Correctional Services will hold an urgent media briefing about the explicit photos making rounds on social media platforms.
According to EWN, the Acting Commissioner of Johannesburg Prison James Smalberger confirmed that the department condemns the breach of security and that an investigation is currently under way. Smal also told EWN that 13 officials have been identified in connection with the scandal and have been served with letters considering their suspension.
