Fire breaks out on Douglasdale property

A fire has broken out on the corner of Mangaan Street and Juweel Street in Douglasdale near the Klein Jukskei River.

According to Jean Berdou from Future City Fourways, fire trucks from the Lonehill Fire Station are on the scene with other emergency services. Embers are still being put out, however, the fire is under control.  All the residents and pets are safe.

Berdou said the structure of the building has been severely damaged.
