Community supports the A Re Sebetseng clean-up campaign

BEVERLEY – Read all about the recent A Re Sebetseng clean-up.

Ward 94 councillor David Foley shared the reason behind the recent A Re Sebetseng holiday clean-up in Beverley.

“As a lot of people are away between Christmas and New Year I chose a smaller area to clean. Joined by other members of the community we cleaned Robert Bruce Road, Fountain Road, the servitude road between the two roads and Riverside Road,” Foley said.

He added that residents from Ward 112 in Midrand assisted, as well as people from Beverley and Lonehill. Mzwandile Simelane, the company secretary and secretary general of Citizen SA also joined in.

When asked what he would like the community to know about A Re Sebetseng, Foley said that it was a wonderful initiative.

“A Re Sebetseng will be on the third Saturday of each month. It brings a cleaner future to all wards in the area and I plead with everyone to participate and assist in the clean-up campaign,” he said.
