Plenty of joy and cheers from Weaver House during the gala, which that team eventually won on the day.
The swimmers of HeronBridge College preparatory splashed their hearts out when the school hosted its annual inter-house gala on 28 January.
The junior and senior victrix and victor ludorum winners are Danni Nogueira, Callan Lotter, Travis Donnelly and Jamie Holroyd, who won the honour for being the best athletes on the day.Weaver House is pretty in yellow during the inter-house gala on 28 January.
The children were divided into four teams: Starling, Barbet, Turacco and Weaver for the day in order to compete against one another.
The team with the best spirit on the day is Turacco. JP Lübbe (back row) congratulates the team’s spirit committee after the races were completed.
The Weaver team was declared the overall winner, while Turacco was awarded the spirit cup for their enthusiasm throughout the day.
This year’s winning team was the Weavers. Head of the preparatory school, JP Lübbe, hands the trophy to Callan Lotter and Cameron Knowles.
The best swimmers during the tournament were also awarded when the junior and senior victrix and victor ludorum awards were given to Danni Nogueira, Callan Lotter, Travis Donnelly and Jamie Holroyd. A fun day was had by all.
