We Care About Mums

Mums are ready for another exciting support session.

Mums Matter

Being a mum means filling many roles, but we know ‘mum’ is only one person, and sometimes mums need some help. Cuddlers, Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre, and the Fourways Review, under the banner of Caxton Cares, have joined together to give mums that help by creating sessions of support and learning. Experts in various fields lead the sessions to give the mums the skills they need to prepare for the different stages in childcare as well as skills to uplift them as individuals within a community.

On completion of these session, mums receive an attendance certificate showing what they have learnt.

Murray Booth, marketing executive at Cuddlers, said it’s wonderful to see the difference these sessions make. “It’s so heart-warming to see the mothers grow from session to session,” said Booth. Teboho Katze, the business development manager at Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre, said that he is very proud to be a part of this initiative. “Mothers give so much but sometimes they need a little help themselves. We are only happy to help as much as we can,” said Katze.

The sessions run bi-monthly on Thursdays.

When: 18 July at 10.30am
