One injured in a collision near William Nicol off-ramp

FOURWAYS – The patient was transported to the nearest hospital for further care by Emer-G-Med services.


Emer-G-Med responded to a collision on the N1 North before the William Nicol Drive off-ramp around 8am on August 17.

According to Caitlin Kruger, Emer-G-Med medic, two vehicles were involved in the incident. The car at the front was hit from behind. “Traffic started slowing down at the peak hour but one vehicle didn’t see [this] and crashed into another one,” she said.

She concluded, “One patient with mild injuries was taken to hospital.”

All relevant authorities were on the scene.
