The 29-year-old, who has an impressive record of 27 wins and one loss in 28 fights, recently transitioned from cruiserweight to the heavyweight division and is already making big moves. He claimed that his transition to this division was no issue at all for him. “Transition went really smooth, besides my injuries I’ve really adjusted well to the step up.”
Lerena said he had big plans for his career. “I’m seven times cruiserweight world champion. I need to become heavyweight world champion next. That’s my next goal on my list.”
