The Memorial Junior Hockey Tournament is set to take place on June 16 and 17 for U12 and U13 girls and boys to take part in. Fredericks passed away last year on June 14 which left many in the hockey fraternity in the country shocked and saddened at his sudden death.

Reza Rosenberg took over the managerial reigns of the club since Fredericks’ passing. He said the aim was to hold the tournament on an annual basis. “The festival will serve as a celebration of Ally and the passion he had for grooming the youth, and the vision he always had for our future stars.
“His has left a major gap in the club and the hearts of our staff and club members. We do miss him dearly, however, we are pushing forward by taking it day by day ensuring that the club continues as normal,” he said.
