Local dance teacher encourages aspiring dancers to gird their loins and show the world the best South African moves

Local dance teacher enjoys helping young dancers nurture their talent to match international standards.

Dance teacher Lerato Hure writes:

I am a choreographer, passionate dancer and dance teacher at HHMZ Dance School based in Dainfern.
I started dancing at a very young age which at first did to have fun with friends. My primary school teacher, Mrs Musa Shongwe saw a talent in me, and she encouraged me to participate in different dance competition and I started winning trophies.

I then later joined a local dance group which helped me grow a passion and gave me an opportunity to dance for big artists like the late hip-hop artist Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP) and groups like Diamond Platnumz just to name a few. I then felt I could do more with my God-given dance talent and decided to join HHMZ Dance School as one of the dance teachers a few years ago to help nurture young local talent.

Since joining the school, we’ve produced great dancers and some of them got opportunities to work in countries like America after winning the World Dance Championships last year.
I would like to encourage and call upon all young aspiring dancers to in and around the Fourways area join us, gird their lions and show the world what we’ve got as South African dancers.
